Private ultrasound early dating scan that provides an accurate method to date your pregnancy and due date. Dating/Viability scans will also determine multiple pregnancies and check general wellbeing.
Drink 0.5 Litres (1 pint) clear fluid approximately 1 hour before appointment time.
Please do not empty your bladder before the examination.
We do not offer internal scans.
From 13 to 36 weeks
Available for women above the age of 18
Includes 2 large A5 prints and a report
This scan is used to reassure worried parents by detecting baby’s heartbeat and includes a well being check. This scan can be booked up to 36 weeks. A full bladder is required for this scan if you are under 20 weeks
From 14 weeks onwards
Available to women above the age of 18

Scan to determine the gender of your baby and check general wellbeing. Please note a £10 surcharge will be applied for a multiple pregnancy.
A full bladder is required for this scan.
Please note in some circumstances we may not be able to determine the gender of your baby if this is the case we will ask you to take a short walk and re-scan you. If we are still not able to determine the sex of your baby we will re-book you at no extra cost. We are not able to 100% guarantee the gender of your baby.

This amazing scan gives you the opportunity to start the bonding process with your baby. This once in a life time opportunity can be shared with up to four guests. The 4D scans give the opportunity to view your baby in more detail including facial expressions such as frowning and yawning. A truly magical experience you will never forget. Gender determination is also offered free of charge. A full bladder is not required for this scan.
If an abnormality is detected or suspected on your scan the sonographer will discuss this with you. You will be given a report to take away and an appointment will be arranged for you at the hospital within a few days.
From 20-33 weeks of pregnancy, the ideal time for this scan is between 27 to 30 weeks for twins

Are the scans harmful?
There is no evidence to suggest that the scans are harmful in any way. However, it is vital that you are aware of the risks associated with the procedure before coming to any decision on the matter
